MY ANSWER

When I was young, people told me that God put us here for a purpose. I asked God to show me what it was, but I'm in my 80s now and I can't say I've ever done anything special. I tried to do what was right, to be a good husband and father, and to help our church, but did I miss something?
No, not necessarily; maybe you were doing exactly what God wanted you to do.

MY ANSWER

How good do we have to be in order to get into heaven? I know we have to have faith in Jesus, and I do, but surely God won't let me into heaven unless I also try my best to be a good person, will He?
Even one sin - just one - would be enough to keep you out of heaven. This is why we need Christ, for when He died on the cross He became the final and complete sacrifice for all our sins.

MY ANSWER

I truly believe God has forgiven me for the way I messed up my life, but frankly I'm beginning to wonder what difference it makes. Things aren't any better now than they were before I turned to God. I thought God would take away my problems but He hasn't. Am I doing something wrong?
No, you aren't necessarily doing anything wrong - not if you're sincerely seeking to follow Christ in your daily life. God still loves you and wants to help you.

MY ANSWER

How do you know if it's the devil who is tempting you to do something, or if God is just testing you to see if you'll do what's right? I try to make the right choices, but I'm not sure I always know what to do.
God never tempts us to do anything wrong.
