MY ANSWER

If you grow up not liking yourself, then you'll always have a hard time liking other people. Does this mean someone like that can't love God either?
Billy Graham writes, "No, it doesn't—not at all. Admittedly, some people may have a harder time than others learning to love God ... But no matter who we are or what our background has been, the greatest discovery we can ever make is that God loves us just as we are."

MY ANSWER

How can you say that God is a loving God when so much of the Bible talks about God judging people?
Billy Graham writes, "One of the Bible's greatest truths is that God is holy and therefore hates evil—and yet He also is loving and merciful. ... But I can understand why you might have a hard time understanding this."

MY ANSWER

I'd like to start all over with God, but I'm afraid He must be out of patience with me. Please tell me if I'm wrong.
Billy Graham writes, "You are wrong. God has never stopped loving you, and He has never stopped hoping that you will turn back to Him."

MY ANSWER

I guess I'm like lots of people my age. When I was young, I really believed in Jesus, but then I hit my teens and all that went out the window. But now that I'm older I know I need God. Will He take me back, or is He fed up with me?
Listen: God still loves you, and Christ died for you. God's promise of forgiveness is for all who know they need Him: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

MY ANSWER

I'm about to give up on God. I've prayed and prayed for Him to take away my problems, but nothing has changed. Why doesn't God do something? I thought He was supposed to care about us.
Even when we forget Him or ignore Him, He does not forget us or ignore us, because His love for us is everlasting.
