You are right: Our world is filled with conflicts and injustices and we must not be complacent about them. But have you ever thought about how much worse the world might be if God's people refused to pray?

I have a serious problem with buying things I can't afford or don't need. I guess I'm a compulsive shopper, and I just can't get it under control. My husband gets very upset when the credit card bills come in and says I just need more will power, but nothing seems to work. Can God help me?
God not only can help you with this problem; He wants to help you.

Our daughter is married to a man who has a very sarcastic tongue, and some of the things he's said have really hurt me. Our daughter says we shouldn't take him seriously because he's only kidding, but I don't see it that way. Why can't people learn to watch their tongues?
