I know God is displeased when we deliberately sin, but what if we do something wrong and we don't realize it's a sin? Is God still displeased? I'm sure I've done lots of things that were wrong without even realizing it.
You are right: Sometimes we sin without even realizing it - and not just by doing something wrong, but by failing to do something right.

How can I control my thoughts about other people? I don't understand myself. Sometimes I find myself thinking bad thoughts about others and hoping bad things will happen to them. I know God doesn't like this.

How do you know if it's the devil who is tempting you to do something, or if God is just testing you to see if you'll do what's right? I try to make the right choices, but I'm not sure I always know what to do.
God never tempts us to do anything wrong.
