Billy Graham's Message: "Who Is Jesus Christ?" »

Today's message begins in Matthew chapter 15: "Whom say ye that I am?" Jesus came as a humble carpenter and they didn't recognize Him as the Messiah. Peter began to sense that He was different. Jesus was the Man who was God. Jesus was the creative Christ, the compassionate Christ. He was the crucified Christ. Why did He stay on the cross? Not because he had sinned. He died in our place because we are sinners and have broken God's laws. Scripture says if you have broken one commandment, you've broken them all. The result of breaking the law is death. And that is the death Jesus died. There is going to be a judgment. You don't know when your moment will come. If you say no to Christ, God cannot forgive you because Christ is the road He has made for us to stand before Him. Jesus is also the living Christ. He rose again and lives today. He is also the contemporary Christ. He comes into peoples hearts to whoever put their confidence in Him. And He's the coming Christ. Jesus said He will come again. How do we respond? What do we do?
