New Billy Graham Daily Program Launched on Familynet Radio/Sirius Ch. 161

"Billy Graham Presents: An Evening at The Cove” Features Leading Bible Teaching

Building on nearly six decades of quality, biblical radio programming, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has begun running a new daily, 60-minute program featuring world-renowned Bible teachers on FamilyNet Radio, heard on SIRIUS Satellite Radio Channel 161. The new program, “Billy Graham Presents: An Evening at The Cove” will run Monday through Friday, 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern. The program features leading Bible teachers from the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, N.C., excerpts from classic Billy Graham or Franklin Graham sermons, and updates on current BGEA ministry outreach. A host of well-known Christian speakers who have spoken at The Cove are slated to be featured on the new program. Among them are David Jeremiah, Greg Laurie, Alistair Begg, Anne Graham Lotz, Gary Chapman, Elizabeth Elliott, Tony Evans, Chip Ingram, to name a few. “The Cove has a long-standing reputation for providing some of the most powerful in-depth Bible teaching in the country,” said Jim Kirkland, director of radio for the BGEA. “We are excited to see what God will do through this compelling content as it reaches the listeners of satellite radio.” The new program is the second BGEA debut this year on satellite radio. In January, the weekly “Billy Graham Classics” program began also on FamilyNet Radio, airing each Sunday, 8 to 9 p.m. Eastern. The 60-minute program features timeless sermons by the world-famous evangelist and updates on exciting new projects of the BGEA. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) proclaims the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ throughout the world by every effective means available. From its headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., BGEA runs a wide range of domestic and international evangelism ministries, including: large-scale festivals led by evangelist Franklin Graham; Dare to Be a Daniel, a youth evangelism training project; My Hope World Evangelism Through Television; the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, offering the hope of Jesus Christ in the midst of tragedy; and many others through print, television, telephone, radio and the Internet.
