Billy Graham Rapid Response Team Remembers Virginia Tech
Ministry Calls for Prayer on Behalf of Families and School
One year ago this week, 32 students and faculty were tragically murdered on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. “On the one year anniversary of this terrible event, we want to remind the Virginia Tech community that we continue to love them and pray for them,” says Jack Munday, director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team. “Virginia Tech changed forever that day and things will never go back to ‘normal.’ But, with every passing day there is developing a new ‘normal’ and we’re very proud of the students and faculty.” Munday continues, “I encourage everyone to take a moment this week to remember and pray for the people and families affected by this tragedy, as well as the entire Virginia Tech community. God bless the Hokies of Virginia Tech!” Editor’s Note: The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is a nationwide network of 2,600 chaplains and ministry volunteers who are specifically trained to deal with crisis situations.
