The Throne of Grace

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace . . .
–Hebrews 4:16

Praying is simply a two-way conversation between you and God. Thousands of people pray only when they are under great stress, or in danger, overcome by uncertainty. I have been in airplanes when an engine died; then people started praying. I have talked to soldiers who told me that they never prayed until they were in the midst of battle. There seems to be an instinct in man to pray in times of trouble. We know “there are no atheists in foxholes,” but the kind of Christianity that fails to reach into our everyday lives will never change the world. Develop the power of prayer. Man is more powerful when he is in prayer than when he is behind the most powerful guns. A nation is more powerful when it unites in earnest prayer to God than when its resources are channeled into defensive weapons. The answers to all our problems can be had through contact with almighty God.

Prayer for the day

My time spent in prayer with You, dear Lord, is the highlight of my day. To know You are waiting to have this communion humbles me. Yet You say I can come boldly—this I do now, knowing You hear me!

God bless billy Graham and his whole organization. I too thank God throughout he the day for all my blessings, the smallest thing God gave us are the greatest gifts to me, we all need to pray for the USA to come back to it greatness. Merry Christmas

God's Awesome Work in my life begins every morning when I open my eyes and I can see...I can walk, I can talk, I have a job that God has blessed me with...I have a million PRAISE words to say everyday to God, He makes me love Him MORE AND MORE everyday...I will bow my face down to the ground in worship to My Master and Savior THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!

How marvelous to realize, how much the Father loves us and how faithfully He listens to our prayer, how marvelous to know that when, Satan against us, enemies against us, we have no need to worry, because our Creator, our God, is there, Amen!

Needed this today even though I was reminded of this very verse that Jesus sympathizes with all of my desires and needs and I need to come boldly to him and tell him..he already knows.. but he wants to hear my...voice and know that I love him!.

This is my favorite time of day. I get to spent quiet time with just God and I studying his Holy Word. I am deeply humbled, knowing that he truly cares what I think, do, or say.

Thank God for Billy Graham. I pray for this site to grow and reach millions and that Franklin's Voice will rise in the world. As I listen daily to the archived sermons I am made aware of how relevant and timely the passages and sermons are for all people today.

I have seen prayer work on so many occassions. I am so happy that I have my wonderful God to turn to and talk to as a friend and as a Father. I can't thank Him eough for the work's He has already done in my life. Blessed be the name of the Lord now and for forever!

I speak to the Lord everyday and thank him for the chance for one more day, for giving me the strength and the courage to face one more day and for being able to have the chance to spend time with my husband and son as well as being able to worship and praise God and to try to please Him for another day.

Who am I that Almighty God is happy when I bring him praise ,petitions and thanks , in daily Prayer ?? I think its absolutely, incredible that the Creator of All, loves me (and all His children), so much that He is willing and cares enough to hear what I have to say. How awesome is that assurance . Thank you Lord !!!

I love the book PEACE WITH GOD. You have to read this book it has helped me.
