Enjoy Life

Now you are happy with the inexpressible joy that comes from heaven itself.

Christians are to enjoy life and enjoy one another. When children see no joy in their home, no joy in your Christianity, they will not be attracted by it. When they see you excited about going to a ball game, or watching television, and then dragging around to do spiritual things, they will soon get the idea that Christianity does not mean much to you. Your attitude will rub off. My wife says that the best way to get a child to eat his food is to see his parents enjoying theirs. Our children will not be attracted to Christ if we make Him seem dull.

Prayer for the day

May I live so close to You, Jesus, that those around me will see Your joy.

I have 5 grandchildren and when I spend time with them I have learned that fun and laughter is a wonderful way of letting the joy of the Lord be part of our time. It is amazing how this has changed their attitude to Christianity, we have some really good discussions now, they have seen me sad and laughing and have commented on my attitude to life seeing their nan enjoy life fully. No matter what. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. I fully agree with today's reading. Thank you for the encouragement it always gives.

I accepted Christ into my heart in 1965, after listening to BG on television, lived in AZ at the time Than you for the ministry and the message, it was then I knew I was a sinner and needed Christ

There's so much that going on and God gives us free choice. Although the narrow road may be dark at times, but trusting in Him who calls us by name will walk us through it all. No servant can serve two masters. (Lk 16:13)

The joy of The Lord is my strength. As for me and my household I will serve The Lord - Amen. Thank God for BGEA, daily devotion is my first tonic of the day once I log in at office.

We are transparent. Let us hope that others may see God and Christ in us and help in their transparency.
