The Problem of Boredom

October 11, 2013

. . . knowing what lies ahead for you, you won’t become bored with being a Christian . . .
–Hebrews 6:12 (TLB)

Do you know what nearly all the sociologists say today in their study of young people? The greatest problem facing young people today is not sex—it is boredom, boredom. Did you know that when they had the riot at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire they asked the young people what was wrong, why did they do it? Many of them said, “Just for the hell of it.” Bored—life has no purpose, life has no meaning. Give your life to Christ and you will never spend another bored minute.

Prayer for the day

Lord Jesus, when I gave my life to You, my days were flooded with the splendor of Your love.

There is so much work to be done for Jesus we can never finish it. To a believer in Jesus we can never be bored in His service. Everywhere you look people need help and we should be first to help.

Live a life in love with God. Let your heart soar for Him. If you start to become bored, praise and worship Him, and the boredom will quickly pass.

Our Heavenly Father , his Precious Son and the Holy Spirit , are never boring. In fact the total opposite is true. If anyone wants to experience Happiness and Joy like never before ............invite them into your life and see for yourself.
