A Daily Process

October 2, 2013

He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
–Philippians 1:6

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion. It is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ. When you start out, you start out as a baby. You must be fed on the simple things of the Bible, and you learn to walk in your Christian life gradually. At first you will fall down and make many mistakes, but you are to continue growing. However, there are many people who have stopped growing. They remain spiritual babes all their lives. I am afraid that this experience is all too common today. Perhaps it is yours.

Do you remember the day when you gave your heart and life to Christ? You were sure of victory. How easy it seemed to be more than conqueror through Christ who loved you. Thousands of Christians have struggles with themselves. The great need in Christendom today is for Christians to learn the secret of daily victory over sin.

Prayer for the day

Father, I fall so many times but how lovingly You give me Your strength to endure.

We need the grace of God to run the heavenly race. It is quite a huge task to be a christian. But God is always there to push us back up when we fall. Thank you Jesus.

The means by which we must grow we can summarize in one word: suffering. As christians we are called to suffer in some way or another.By persecution, sickness or difficult circumstances.Life doesn't come to us in the easy way if we follow Jesus.

May growth is reading the Bible and a devotional every day. I learn more and more about how God is there when I need him and there just watching over me. He is my Lord and Savior.

If Christians would be in the Word more then there would be more repentance and less secret sins. We'd truly want God's will and be more pure in heart. It is important to know Godsword for protection."In the end times even the Elite will be deceive."

This is true, a Christian that stops growing starts dying.

Christianity is called a spiritual walk. It's not a run and it's not a jog. It' a walk you do from day to day and that makes you stable.

Praise be to the lord! All of my breath belongs to you, your spirit bringing love to us. I can't say how much you have done for me, my sins have been taken away by you. Lead me where you want, blessing to those who seek what you want. You are power in darkness!
