An Act of God

There is salvation in no one else! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them.

Salvation is an act of God. It is initiated by God, wrought by God, and sustained by God. The faith that saves the soul is described as faith in Christ as the Son of God—not as a good man or a great man, but as the uniquely begotten Son of the living God!

This is consistent with the witness of the entire New Testament and with the proclamations of the first preachers of the Gospel. All proclaim the necessity of faith in Jesus Christ as deity.

Prayer for the day

Lord Jesus, Son of God, I worship You unreservedly and praise Your holy name.

I had a moment this week when I felt I was going to break. I knelt in prayer and asked the Lord for peace. It was amazing how the love of Christ washed over me. "In Him we live and move and have our being!" Praise God!

Can you imagine how frightening life would be if God offered no plan of salvation. We would all be lost , forever, with no eternal hope at all. Thankfully there is a plan available for everyone, if we choose to accept it. Thank you Lord.

Jesus is God. God himself came to die for us because only God could be the perfect sacrifice. Those who accept Jesus as Savior will spend eternity in heaven. Thank you God for your forgiveness.

God's Amazing Love was so great toward us that he sent his only begotten Son to earth to teach us, die for us, then rise again for us. Then finally go back to the Father to prepare a place for us. When he returns again, we will meet him in the air at the sound of the trump and spend eternity in his Holy presence.......and that's a promise.

Billy Graham ministries are truly of God. They have blessed me with daily devotions and prayer for a year now, I am so thankful we have people willing to minister to all of us. I thank God for giving us Billy Graham and I thank God for his son Jesus Christ who died for me. Thank you Jesus
