Wonders of Nature

August 15, 2013

These things that were written in the Scriptures so long ago are to teach us . . .
–Romans 15:4 (TLB)

In the wonders of nature we see God’s laws in operation. Who has not looked up at the stars on a cloudless night and marveled in silent awe at the glory of God’s handiwork? Who has not felt his heart lifted in the spring of the year, as he sees all creation bursting with new life and vigor? In the beauty and abundance around us we see the magnitude of God’s power and the infinite detail of His planning; but nature tells us nothing of God’s love or God’s grace. Conscience tells us in our innermost being of the presence of God and of the moral difference between good and evil; but this is a fragmentary message, in no way as distinct and comprehensive as the lessons of the Bible. It is only in its pages that we find the clear and unmistakable message upon which all true Christianity is based.

Prayer for the day

As I read Your Word, almighty God, clear my mind of needless thoughts, so that I may be aware of Your message for me this day.

There are no words to express my gratitude toward my God. He pull me out of drug addiction, He heal my body from hepatitis C and other kind of sickness. There is no God like my God.

In order to know the love God has for us we must know Jesus and walk with Him daily. This is only possible by reading God's Holy Word on a daily basis. Thanks be to God who loved us while we were still sinners.

Gods love and Glory is seen all around us daily. There is life in every growing thing.. In the spring it reminds us of Jesus conquering death and in faith his return for us

On Sunday night I went out into the country to see the meteor shower and was amazed at how many stars you could see. God's universe is beautiful. Praise God for His creation, His Word and His Son.

Nature is our daily reminder of God's Greatness. It is magnificent to watch his diverse creation. We can learn some lessons by observing nature. True wisdom and knowledge however are readily found in God's Holy Word.

The greatest and worst sin is UNBELIEF! How can one say there is no GOD when one is breathing, talking, walking, seeing, hearing...

Gerry says 8.15.2011, 08:01 a.m.

God's attributes are endless. I am constantly awe-struck by His Creations for they are spectacular and abundant. His Greatness cannot be measured. His Holy Word is a vast treasure of Godly Wisdom and Knowledge and he left it for all to read. Don't leave your Bible in a drawer or on a shelf, take time to read it each day. Even if its only one verse. It will help change your life and give you new hope and direction.
