Life-Changing Power

August 13, 2013

Christ died and rose again . . . so that he can be our Lord both while we live and when we die.
–Romans 14:9 (TLB)

With a frequency that is amazing, the Bible affirms the fact of the bodily resurrection of Christ. Perhaps the most direct of all its statements is Luke’s account in the book of Acts, where he reports, “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days” (Acts 1:3). What are we going to do with these “many infallible proofs”? Someone asked my colleague George Beverly Shea how much he knew about God. He said, “I don’t know much, but what I do know has changed my life.” We may not be able to take all of this evidence into a scientific laboratory and prove it; but, if we accept any fact of history, we must accept the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

Prayer for the day

All the arguments concerning Your existence are refuted, Lord Jesus, as I feel Your presence each day. It causes my soul to rejoice knowing that You, my living Lord, are with me!

What a beautiful prayer of the day!!! It uplifts me so much to hear the Word of God and to know he is with me daily. To know our Savior died on the cross and arose and is alive today makes my heart want to sing with joy!

Even though God is not seen by any of us, I know He is there whenever we need Him. He is there in prayer and in despair. I am the one that needs to reach out to Him.

Every Believer in Christ knows for certain that he lives because his presence in our life is felt regularly. We marvel as we watch him work . We may not always understand his plan for us but as we grow we are confident it's for our ultimate best.

Accepting the fact that Jesus rose from the grave can be compared to accepting the fact that Apollo landed on the moon. We live in a world where man has risen, as we live in a world where man has been to the moon.

I already said God proved His power and Love to me in one of yur prayer request answers. Yesterday I spoke with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit abour the Rapture and things happened. Now my problems then later became solved.

It is very difficult to put into exact words how incredible it is to have a personal relationship with Christ . His presence envelopes you with a joy and peace that is totally awesome.......God's love is so intense that he sent his own Son to die a horrid death as a perfect sacrifice so we would not be eternally separated from him. However, he left the choice up to each person , as to accept or reject his Holy Son. If you are reading this and have never accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, then stop whatever you are doing and ask him to come into your life, right away. It costs nothing and will be the best decision you ever made. Experience for yourself this incomparable journey and cast all your troubles and worrys on him.

He lives so that we too may live. Hallelujah, what a Savior! This week I went to the funeral of a young believer. There were tears shed for her husband and children, but joy for her as she is now in Christs embrace. Awesome!

My only wish is that I had listened to my grandmother about Billy Graham years ago. I now see what she meant your sermons on your crusades make Jesus come alive for me. Thank you so mush Billy Graham for choosing who you would serve. GOD
