A Genuine Hero

Jesus saith . . . I am the way, the truth, and the life . . .
–John 14:6

With much of society a disappointment, young people have begun to search for answers on their own. Everywhere I travel, I find young people who are asking: What is truth? Who says so? What is right and what is wrong? Is there a final authority? Yes! There is an authority! There is a moral law! It has been exemplified in a real Person. There is a genuine Hero in whom you can believe, who will never let you down. His name is Jesus Christ. He was born into a world as jumbled and riddled with injustice as yours, but He changed it by changing people.

Prayer for the day

You, Lord Jesus, are the Supreme Authority; and my soul praises You!

God bless you. These devotionals have impacted greatly in my life. As you all, I come from so many problems and almost lost in the pit of hell; but these devotionals were like swords in my heart that I started reading the Word and my life has changed

I have begun having my devotion each morning with Billy Graham. What a blessing!! I had gotten away from the Lord but am now studying His Word and writing notes in my Bible. One day my kids/grandkids will be blessed by these scriptures.

What beautiful words. It’s so easy to allow ourselves to become frustrated with the decay of this world, but then I remember Christ's example and the love He portrayed and I feel the peace of God flood my soul again. Thank You God for giving us hope.

Today we live in what is called a "post-modern world". Our world is a world built upon sand. The post moderns try to tell us that there is no right or wrong.That everything is relative. But, indeed Jesus Christ is the foundation of our lives. In Jesus Christ we find what is right and what is wrong. In Jesus Christ we have a firm foundation upon which we may build our lives. Truly, Jesus is the way, the truth , and the life.

Moral decay and sinful living is not new. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior saw the same destructive and immoral lifestyles when he walked the earth. We all have a choice to make while we walk this earth as well. Your decision is eternally important. Ask God to guide you while there is still time. He will help.

Dearest Lord of heaven and earth and Lord of all, Thank thee for the accessibility of thy holy words studies. As I continue to struggle to live in all different environment and facing the suffering of my body soul and spirit after every attack physically and mentally and spiritually, I am thankful to the Lord that I can come to this website to practice the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Since the first time I became seduced by the Hindu occult at a private college where a barren African woman was a principle I just never got blessed, my tribe is getting worse and worse.
