God's Love is Obvious

. . . the love of God toward us . . .
–1 John 4:9

Notice God’s love. The Bible teaches that God is love. You and I were sinners. We were aliens from God. We were enemies of God. We had rebelled against God.We deserved hell, but in spite of the fact that we resisted God, we rebelled against God, we sinned against God, we were enemies of God—the Bible says God loved us anyway with an everlasting love so that He was willing to give His Son to die on the cross for our sins. There is not a person who has the ability to love that way unless he comes to Christ. You don’t have the power to love.

Prayer for the day

Your love encompasses me, Lord Jesus, wherever I may be. There are so many who need the healing of Your love in their lives. Fill me to overflowing with “agapé” love for them.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally to the extent that I don't fully understand. May Your Holy Spirit consume me and fill me with "agape" love, so that I may share it with others who are in need of Your healing love.

God continues to love his children dispite our occasional self centered ways. It is virtually impossible for the human mind to fathom the depths of that kind of love. Although I may not fully understand it , I'm very thankful for it.

Thank you, God for all You have done for us. Please help my fiance, Robert, who is Ill with cancer. The doctors tells us there is nothing more they can do, but only You know his fate! Please give us the strength to get through all this.

I was blind to God's Love for many years.In hindsight his Love should have been obvious even then. Now, 28 years later I still don't fully understand the depth of his Love but I feel it every day.Thank you Lord for everything.

God's love is so great...can't express it in words... he has done wonderful things for my children n my life.. so i pray that God will forgive my sins and lead me a good life....

I am so grateful, humbled by how much God loves me and my children, nobody on this planet or in the universe loves us more than our God in Heaven. God knew I would be typing this Awesome Praise for a Awesome God before He created the universe. We can experience some of it on earth but it won't be complete until we meet Jesus face-to-face! This is what I am looking forward to!

When I look back to a time when I did not know or love God it saddens me because I now realized that I cannot recapture those years. I now understand that God Loved and cared for me, even then. If your reading these words and do not know Christ I would encourage you to ask him into your life, ASAP. The perfect time is now. Experience hHs Love yourself. The change will amaze you ..........and its free.

I am so scared because my husband believes that Jesus died on the cross for him but his believeing is not the same, he said that the bible contradicts itself. All I can do is pray hard and pray long to put his hands on his heart. I need more prayers for him so I can be a strong wife for my husband. Cindy
