Reconciliation

June 7, 2013

For if, when we were enemies, we were
reconciled to God by the death of his Son . . .
–Romans 5:10

The word “reconcile” means literally “bring into a changed relationship.” It means to bring together two parties who should have been together all along. The Bible speaks of the human race as enemies of God. You may say that you are no “enemy” of God, but according to Scripture we are either passive or active enemies of God, apart from Christ. Reconciliation means “brought back into full relationship and fellowship with God.” This is what Christ accomplished on the cross. What a thrilling thought!

Prayer for the day

Your cross, dear Savior, brings me to my knees in humble gratitude. Thank You, for forgiving all the past and giving me strength to live each day in Your power.

Lord Jesus, You are the only way of reconciliation,.....You are in every respect unique, brought us back into full relationship and fellowship with God,.....YOU ARE THE SOURCE OF RECONCILIATION. A Million Thanks......!

I am a prodigal son, I lived out in the world for 34 years when the world beat me down to nothing and I ruined my life I ran back into my Heavenly Father's Arms and said "all forgiven"! I am so glad that our God in Heaven is not human. HE will never hold grudge! Bless You God for loving a sinner like me.

There was only one that qualified to bring full reconciliation to mankind and that was God's Holy Son Jesus Christ. The price of his life at Calvary , paid our sin-debt in full. How can we ever adequately thank you for such a massive sacrifice. What an incomparable act of love.

Thank you Lord Jesus for your living word! And for people like the Billy Graham ministry that work so hard to bring your love to us each day. Bless them all with your Holy Spirit and strengthen them in your love! I love you Billy thank you for helping me stay close to my Lord Jesus and for being true to his word. GOD BLESS !
