A Sacred Institution

May 27, 2013

Follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
–Romans 14:19

The home is basically a sacred institution. The perfect marriage is the uniting of three persons--a man and a woman and God. This is what makes marriage holy. Faith in Christ is the most important of all principles in the building of a happy marriage and a successful home. The secret strength of a nation is found in the faith that abides in the hearts and homes of the country.

Prayer for the day

May we so love one another, through You, Lord Jesus--that our homes will be reflections of the glory of Your inestimable love.

Christ in a household makes a difference. In the most chaotic circumstances, He longs to bring His Peace and Comfort! From personal experience, the storm of a chaotic household can be brought to silence when Christ is your shield. Mark 4: 39

A rope made of three cords is hard to break (Ecclesiastes 4:9). My Precious Living Lord Jesus, YOU ARE THE SACRED ROPE WHO PROTECT AND MAKE MARRIAGE HOLY.........! All the glory, honour and praise belongs to You.......!

When a husband and wife choose Christ to be the centre-focus of the life ,their marriage will flourish . Life's storms will come and go but their Godly anchor, will hold them firm.

Gerry says 5.27.2011, 07:34 a.m.

A marraige without God in it, is like the biblical story of the house built on sand. When the storms of life arrive the foundation will washout and the house will collapse. Build your home on the Rock of Jesus Christ and allow Faith and Love to permeate your life.
