Jesus is Transcendent

Come to Christ, who is the living Foundation of Rock upon which God builds; though men have spurned him, he is very precious to God who has chosen him above all others.

No personality in history stands above Jesus Christ. Agnostics and atheists have found fault with Christian ideas, but they can never find fault with the Person of Jesus Christ. They have found fault with Christians, but not with Christ. Jesus of Nazareth transcends methods, ideas, and followers. He stands at the turning point of time. Men everywhere must bow to His superiority. Since Christianity is Christ, those who wish to be a Christian must accept and follow Him as a Person. He and He alone is able to meet every need of the human race.

Prayer for the day

Only You, Lord Jesus, meet all the needs in the hearts of men. You have met me in all the loneliest and all the happiest moments of my life.

I thank God for Billy Graham's consistent message of Jesus Christ over the years. It serves as a comfort to know that as the world changes so quickly, Christ does not. Jesus of Nazareth is the most influential figure in all of human history and His exemplary life presents a daily challenge for His followers everywhere.

The Lord Jesus is so perfect as part of the Trinity and as Christ who saved us, however thinking of Jesus as a person who got up each morning and prayed to our Father and had similar experiences as us throught the day is incredible. He does understand our pain and is with us every moment.

Jesus came to earth to Teach and Redeem. He did a perfect job on both counts. His Instruction lives on today and can be readily found in his Holy Bible. What a perfect foundation to build your home on.
