Faith Produces Works

May 17, 2013

. . . doing service as to the Lord . . .
–Ephesians 6:7

A true sacrament is not a mere creed, or ordinance, or form, but it is a life of service to God and to man. The most eloquent prayer is the prayer through hands that heal and bless. The highest form of worship is the worship of unselfish Christian service. The greatest form of praise is the sound of consecrated feet seeking out the lost and helpless.

There must be a practical outworking of our faith here in this present world, or it will never endure the world to come. The Pharisees majored on show but minored on service. We need fewer words and more charitable works; less palaver and more pity; less repetition of creed and more compassion.

Prayer for the day

Talk so often drowns out the cries for help—I am guilty of this, Lord. I would worship You in everything I do. Extend my hands with Your mercy, Lord.

Please pray for me as I've been oppressed, this having adversely affected my health, also what it's about has inhibited my ability in other key areas, and i'm not only inhibited, but also very saddened as many losses. Merci

I feel that my faith grows stronger now than ever; because of the way our country is going. I feel that we're not allownig God in our lives and that's the reason our country is struggling so much. My best wishes to Mr. Graham to continue his work.

Sometimes the best help can be as simple a good listener and a kind word. It costs nothing but can make a huge difference.

For me, BGEA has been the most powerful Revival ministry, which has gingered me more into ministry since last year to this year when we had Ghana Festival Jesus Crusade at the Ghana National Sports Stadium. Still on fire for CHRIST. God bless you BGEA.

Obedience is Better than Sacrifice! If we are to Obey and Please God, we Ought to be true Disciples Of Jesus, Having Matthew 28:16-20 The Great Commission that we are meant for to Fulfill His Purpose for our lives and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth! This only comes true if we do Abide in Him as John 15 tells us and Never worry or get upset Knowing the person of Jesus and all that He has taught us as he comforts us in John 14:1-6 and we will have the Faith and Confidence in Jesus Christ, Believe in God and have assurance Heaven awaits us! This will Help us achieve the crown of Life having run the race as Philippians 3:10-14! I am glad to be the Third Generation to be influenced by Billy Graham Ministry and through the DECISION Magazines Sent to my Grand Father and my Father, am Glad this Anointing has Caught up on me and am exercising it as I serve God Preaching his word! Words are the rudder that turns the mighty ship, but it is through the ears that she receives her power. Faith comes from hearing the word of God. Give someone an encouraging word today.

Gerry says 5.17.2011, 09:43 a.m.

Always be ready to help those who need it....just as God is always ready to help you.
