Truth Brings Freedom

May 7, 2013

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
–John 8:36

The mark of a true Christian is found in his personal relationship to the Person of Jesus Christ. Christianity is Christ. Christ is Christianity. I speak reverently when I say that Jesus is more than His ideas. All that He said was true, but without Him even the truth would have been powerless. Men know the power of truth, and truth is that which sets men free. Jesus said, “I am the truth.”

Prayer for the day

Thank You, Jesus, for the shackles that have been broken in my life!

Christ should be the centre focus of everybeliever's life. All other "stuff" must remainon the periphery. Other "stuff" will try and sneak in the centre. We must remain vigilant and reserve that spot for Christ only.

Joe says 5.7.2013, 07:03 a.m.

Amen.

There are some very special Jewish people I know that feel anger toward God because of the abuses/oppressions suffered by them. Please pray for them, that they will see that it was evil people who hurt them and not God. God only loves them.

We will all be preoccupied with various things today . Some of them will be routine and some of them important . However nothing we do is more important than taking time to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I completely agree, " truth brings freedom". I have experienced it and still experiencing it, I was born in a Hindu family, was never bold and confident enough about me but after accepting Jesus ( The truth) I am free and enjoying my freedom in Jesus

I had the pleasure of hearing Ruth Graham (daughter) last night in Colorado. It humbled me, and made me realize, we all fall short no matter who we are...but God is always there for us if we just allow him in. I have sat in the pew with a broken heart, but have learned to use the alter as Ruth has. With God all things are possible! Today, I sing a new song!! Today is the day the Lord hath made, I will rejoice in it!!

Louis says 5.7.2011, 07:37 a.m.

To God be the everlasting Glory for without His Son Jesus, I am nothing. With Him I have Life and Hope, through His Holy Spirit He guides me through.

samson says 5.7.2011, 06:15 a.m.
