He is Merciful

February 24, 2013

Who is a God like unto thee . . . he delighteth in mercy.
–Micah 7:18

Many persons want to hear what God says just out of curiosity. They want to analyze and dissect it in their own test tubes. To these persons, God may remain the great cosmic silence “out there somewhere.” He communicates to those who are willing to hear and receive Him, and willing to obey Him. Jesus said that we must become humble as little children, and God has most often revealed Himself to the meek and the humble—to a shepherd boy like David, to a rough desert man like John the Baptist, to shepherds watching their flocks, to a girl named Mary. How does God speak? How can a blind man see? How can a deaf man hear? From the beginning God spoke to man. Adam heard the voice of the Lord in the Garden of Eden. Adam had two sons, Cain and Abel, and God spoke to them. Cain spurned that which was revealed to him, but Abel was obedient to the Word of God. Abel’s response showed that a man tainted and handicapped by sin could respond to God’s overtures. Thus, in the beginning, God began by revelation to build a bridge between Himself and people.

Prayer for the day

How merciful You are, almighty God. I seek to show this same mercy.

First acknowledge God, and He shall direct our paths. Lean not to our own understanding. His ways are higher than ours. Trust and Obey

Yes, God loves us always even if we're sinners but in one point we should realize our sins and get rid out of it, absolutely we'll receive mercy from our God" Our God is an awesome God he raised from heaven upon earth

Instead of giving us what we truly deserve, God in his Mercy, chooses to shower us with his bountiful Blessings, instead. Thank you Heavenly Father.

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His com passions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23). I would like to express my gratitude to You LORD, the God of Mercy, Amen......!

I am very thankful for the forgiveness and mercy God shows a sinner like me every day. I pray that God will enable me to show that same Spirit of mercy and forgiveness to all who I encounter. As Believers we must forgive if we are to be forgiven.

i have now for years watched Billy Grahams classics on our TV at TBN, the messages Dr. Graham has preached for so many years have been of great help and inspiration to me, though the messages are in his preachings in the 90s they seem to me new and a new day help to those who seek the Lord in the spirit and truth, surely Dr Graham is Gods chosen servant, may God richly bless him and keep him. God bless the Billy Graham organization. grace mombasakenya

All of us can recapitulate occasions of our life when God spoke to us, if not directly as to Adam and Eve, through someone. And we can realize the immeasurable quantum of his merciful blessings.

Unfortunately, we are all Adams and Eves! May God help us.
