Life is Eternal

February 2, 2013

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.
–Titus 1:2

Life is a glorious opportunity, if it is used to condition us for eternity. If we fail in this, though we succeed in everything else, our life will have been a failure. There is no escape for the man who squanders his opportunity to prepare to meet God. Our lives are also immortal. God made man different from the other creatures. He made him in His own image, a living soul. When this body dies and our earthly existence is terminated, the soul lives on forever. One thousand years from this day, you will be more alive than you are at this moment. The Bible teaches that life does not end at the cemetery. There is a future life with God for those who put their trust in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Prayer for the day

Thank You for the eternal life in Christ and for the peace that comes over me because of this triumphant promise! Today help me relay this joyous news to those around me.

When will our life on earth end? It will end,the same way it began .....exactly when God has pre-planned it. Then comes Eternity.

Psharmindra says 2.9.2012, 11:06 a.m.

Jesus means now for Life, so that we see HIM in Eternity and live as there is no dark night of the soul, but everlasting happiness.

Yes, Jen, i believe the saints are all those who believe in Christ. We are saints even in this world and one day we'll forever be saints with Christ in heaven. What a wonderful hope we have! :)

Joe says 2.2.2012, 08:32 a.m.

Amen Doug.

In Thessalonians it says we will rise when He returns (first the dead in Christ then the living) but in Revelation it says the Saints are active in Heaven even before the Return. When we choose Christ and live a life for Him will we be saints?

Rev. Graham is so right. We'd better be ready

Gerry says 2.2.2012, 06:12 a.m.

We all need to have priorities established in our life. Time here, may be short. Set your priorities on eternal things, that really matter most. The rest is just stuff .........

And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:40). Wonderful Promise, God of Truth, Thank You for the everlasting life..!

My daughter has cerebral palsy but I thank God for she has shown tremendous improvement. Yesterday my wife took her for test on her brain and the results are quite encouraging. I believe a miracle is happening even if it is not in an instant.

And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). Lord Jesus, You purchased my salvation on Calvary. Thank You.., Thank You.., Thank You.., for the ETERNITY, AMEN!

Nelda says 2.2.2011, 2:17 p.m.

I helped bury a dear uncle yesterday and it would have been a sad event in all ways if it wasn't for the fact that I'll see him again because we've both been saved.

I try to focus on succeeding in this life. I am constantly reminded that I need to focus my effort on eternal life. This verse is a great reminder. May we share this one another, believers and non believers.

Hard to think the time we spend on earth is in comparison less than a blink of the eye to eternity. Only difference is we will not long for anything Jesus will be with us face to face. Thank you God for your son Jesus.

sam says 2.2.2011, 05:21 a.m.

Jesus made man immortal by His resurrection which is a pure truth if believed.

Andrea says 2.2.2011, 04:31 a.m.

Dear Sir, Dr Billy Graham, thank you so much for your faithful ministry through the many years. Your teaching has helped me to grow spiritually. You invested in so many people's eternal life, in the most important thing in life. You are in this time and age such a man of God. " No eyes have seen, no ears have heard neither entered into the heart of men what God has prepared for those who love Him..." Can not wait to see, how wonderful it will be, and to see Jesus face to face. We are so blessed to know Christ our Saviour.

Olayinka says 2.1.2011, 11:46 p.m.

Opportunity comes but once

mick says 2.1.2011, 11:25 a.m.

Right now we do not understand Eternity
