My husband and I have a girl child we are raising in the way of the Lord. My sister passed away some years ago after having her out of wedlock. She is now 16 yrs going into the university in a few weeks. Its being a mixed experience, raising her and teaching her the ways of the Lord (sometimes she gets serious and the other times, because of so much pear pressure she is on the other side. (lt's lots of fun watching her grow up though) We need your prays for her and us, to have our own biological children.

Children are truly a heritage of the Lord and a blessing that God has given us. What a privilege to be a Mom. Motherhood is not without problems and frustrations, but God walks us through each trial and changes us and the situation in the midst of it and makes life sweet again. What an awesome God we have.

"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed..." --Psalm 127:4Praise God for our children! And praise Him for giving us (the parents) all we need to train them up, and as Christians, let's raise up some presidents and governors and other politicians! Amen.

I am finding that now when my children are adults and have children of their own that they are turning back to God and desiring to walk even closer to the ways they have been taught from childhood. An example for their children. So thankful!!!

My husband and I have 3 children, one of whom, is not walking with the Lord since his teens. He is 20 now, lives in an apartment with his buddies, has a girlfriend, a job, and seems to be doing ok on his own, as far as the world's standards. However, after losing a close friend in high school in a car accident, he turned away from the Lord, and we went through some hard years in high school. Please pray for his salvation, and his life to be lived for God, again. We have a good relationship with him, again, and pray for him daily.

Please pray that I will raise my daughter, who is a gift from God, to know God and live for him. I have been humbled and my heart opened since God trusted me with her. I know that I have made mistakes so please pray that I will learn from them to continue being the parent God wants me to be. She is now 10 years old so I feel the clock is ticking away for the time I have left to teach her before she goes out into the world as an adult. I am so blessed to be her mother. Thank you God!

Children according to God's Word are the ''gifts'', We should appreciate having them and bring them up in the knowledge of God for a better future.
