Giving Through Your Workplace Has Never Been Easier
September 9, 2010 - We are using several ways to help change the course of eternity for many souls. You can be a part of it.
Eternity hangs in the balance for millions of souls, and we do not take the responsibility of reaching them lightly.
God uses your gifts to advance His Kingdom. BGEA is now it its 60th year of proclaiming the “hope of the Gospel” (Colossians 1:23, NKJV) to people without eternal hope, and God continues to give us many large opportunities for ministry. For example, today God is challenging us to:
- Comfort the broken by sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ with people in crisis. In the aftermath of major disasters, Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains experience again and again how Jesus Christ can transform grieving victims and give them strength for the future.
- Reach our children and grandchildren with the life-changing Gospel. Today’s young people know less about Jesus than any generation in American history. To reach them, God has given us a large-scale new youth outreach strategy called the Rock the River Tour.
- Take the Gospel across entire nations. God has used BGEA’s World Evangelism Through Television project, My Hope, to take the Good News across 50 nations so far, drawing more than 9 million people to Himself – each one of them an individual who openly recorded making a personal decision to follow Christ.
Eternity hangs in the balance for millions of souls, and we do not take the responsibility of reaching them lightly. Our work requires focused strategies, fervent prayer – and considerable resources. God can use you as a partner in this vital work through your workplace giving.
If you are a federal employee, you have a new way to help change the course of eternity for many souls. On your benefits enrollment forms for 2011, simply elect whatever amount you would like to contribute toward the work of the Gospel through BGEA. Our Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) number is 11727.
Even if you are not a federal employee, you may be able to give directly to BGEA through your workplace. Some companies offer matching gifts programs. Be sure to check with your employer to find out whether BGEA is on the list of approved organizations.
