My Answer

I used to be a Christian, but I grew very tired of all the bickering in the church I was attending and I don't have any faith now. What would you say to someone like me? I'd like to believe in God but right now I don't. — R.W.

I'm very sorry you had a bad experience in the church you were attending. I can assure you that the devil rejoices when Christians don't get along with each other!

But let me ask you two questions. First, can you honestly say that every other church in the world is exactly like this one? No, of course not. Yes, churches can have problems, and we shouldn't be surprised at this; after all, they are made up of imperfect people. But when Christ is honored and people seek to live by the Bible, love becomes the pattern instead of bickering. Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John 13:35).

This brings me to my second question: Do you honestly think this bickering was God's will? Not at all. When Christ comes into our lives, He begins to replace our selfish ways with His love and compassion. The Bible says, "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers" (1 John 3:14).

My prayer is that you will turn to Christ. He alone is perfect -- and He alone can save you. God loves you, and the proof is Jesus Christ, who came into the world so that you could become part of God's family forever. Don't stay away from Him any longer, but commit your life to Him and begin to walk with Him every day.

Well, first we don't rely on the church for our faith..you see its a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I feel people like to look at others to have something or someone to criticize...instead we need to come to the Cross and repent and confess and follow Jesus ..no matter what the church is doing or even saying...when Everyone is busy bickering and whatever.. Go to your secret place and pray Lord have mercy on me a sinnerIn Jesus name amen
