My Answer

I recently got my first computer, and I'm fascinated by all the information on the Internet (some good, some bad). Have you ever thought about using the Internet to spread your message? You might be able to reach a lot of people that way. — Mrs. A.P.

Yes, the Internet is a certainly a remarkable innovation (a revolution, in fact). Future historians may well conclude that it is one of the most important developments in the history of the human race.

Our organization has been using the Internet for some years to proclaim the Gospel, and also to inform people about our work so they can pray for us. One of the things we've discovered is that the Internet knows no boundaries, and every day we receive "hits" from people in other countries—including some that are otherwise closed to the Gospel.

When I think of the Internet, I can't help but recall Jesus' words: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). Perhaps we are living in those days. Every month, traffic on the Internet increases, and with it the opportunity for us and other Christian organizations and churches to spread the good news of Christ's salvation.

Never forget, however, that even the most sophisticated electronic device is no substitute for a person who knows Christ and is seeking to share His love with others. Are you praying for those around you, and are you sharing Christ with them?
