My Answer

Who is stronger, Satan or God? I know you'll probably say that God is stronger, but sometimes I wonder. After all, the world is filled with so much evil that it looks to me like Satan is winning most of the time, doesn't it? — Mrs. L.W.

Don't ever doubt that God is far, far stronger than Satan. Satan's power is limited; God's power is limitless. Satan's power is temporary; God's power is eternal. Satan's power is entirely evil; God's power is entirely good.

Furthermore, Satan is part of the creation—but God is the Creator. In fact, the Bible repeatedly calls God the "Sovereign Lord"—because that is what He is. It says, "Sovereign Lord ... you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them" (Acts 4:24). Satan didn't make the world; God did—and God is still in control of it, because He is sovereign.

Yes, Satan has a certain measure of power, and we often see his power at work today. How else can we explain some of the terrible things that happen? Never forget that Satan has one goal: to block God's work wherever he can. To do this he will use every trick he can to deceive us and turn us away from Christ.

But someday Christ will return and destroy the devil's work. Satan is a defeated foe! Until that day, make it your goal to follow Christ. The Bible says, "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8). Don't become his next victim!

love doesn't matter if there isn't hate, light doesn't matter if there isn't dark, the balance that was created was to be perfect we wanted to know about dark, and pain and all knowledge so God let us.therefore we can choose to believe or walk away

I don't believe that God's power is limitless because if it was why doesn't he just destroy Satan who has limited power?

If God is real and forgiving and love, why doesn't he want to reconcile with Satan too? We're both his so called creation, yet he sent Jesus to die but doesn't care about Satan. God can't be love, can he? Unconditional love is that, unconditional.

God did NOT create evil. The Lord created Lucifer, the angel of Light and Music. It said that he was covered in gems of light and that he became proud of himself. You see, God created angels and humanity alike to have freedom of will.

Hahahaha whoever had the idea of God and Satan and made a story out of it was either really creative or he or she was a major drug addict. Hahahahaha

God promised trials. He said he will refine us, like gold...put to the furnace, the dirt and grime removed to make a pure gold! That gold is to shine God's light! This could be a reason for Satan. He is a tempter, a deceiver.

Is it just to say, God is stronger in believers and Satan is strong in unbelievers?

Why did God create Satan? Why did God create evil?
