What can I do to be sure my loved ones will be saved?

We are glad to know that you have a real burden and concern for your loved ones. God has laid this burden upon your heart, and He wants to work in their hearts and lives in response to your prayers.

God desires that all come to the place of repentance and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that the Lord is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

The best thing you can do for your loved ones is to pray earnestly. We have the assurance of God's Word that "the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results" (James 5:16, NLT).

It is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict of sin, to show the possibility of being made right in God's sight, and to warn of the danger of neglecting salvation (see John 16:7-11). The Holy Spirit will be faithful to do His work in response to believing prayer, seeking out those for whom the Lord has burdened someone to pray.

Pray specifically that the Holy Spirit will give you the opportunity to share the message of salvation with your loved ones, or will direct someone else to them. The Lord is able to do this as shown in Acts 8:26-39 and 9:10-18.

It is of great importance, however, that you permit the life and love of our Lord Jesus Christ to be seen in you. This in itself will be a tremendous testimony to unsaved loved ones and friends, and will prepare the way for a presentation of the Gospel. Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16, NKJV).

I feel your pain and I do pray that God draws your friend to the foot of the cross by any means. As HIS followers we must keep our eyes stayed on HIM. Our hearts in tuned to HIS heart. And we must stay focused and stand firm on the WORD; for it is HIS WORD that keeps us. We have prayed, now let's Trust, Believe and Praise God for the finish work of the Cross. Look beyond the cross of Christ and See her Saved. God Bless you and keep you encouraged.

I chose a life like my father, and disobeyed God for 56 years. Our kids are in their 40's and are not saved. They are now living a life like their fathers. I pray that the line will be drawn in the sand, once and for all and that our kids and grand kids repent and accept Jesus.

I have a friend who thinks he's a Christian, grew up in Catholic faith listens to gospel music, but has never accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, plus he's gay, and lives the lifestyle, can he be saved too? I've tried to tell in other ways without offending but with the upbringing I had, raised in Christian background, I think he's still lost. What do you think?

Having loved ones unsaved in this day and age is frightening. You feel so helpless sometimes that I don't feel like I'm getting through fast enough. I know God will answer every prayer and know that He is working somehow in their lives. I know God just wants me to stand, wait, and listen for His voice of instruction. HE IS THERE WITH ALL UNSAVED PEOPLE WAITING FOR THEM TO TURN AN EAR.

May the Holy Spirit live in the Heart of my love ones in order to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and have a closer relationship with the Lord.

I have unsaved loved ones and it breaks my heart. But, I have faith in God and in his son. They can do what I cannot. I can only pray and pray and do my best to be a living witness.

I believe that if we become a thankful people to God, even when our hearts are breaking, He will hear us and He will then hear our request, but first we must thank God for His son, and all the wondrous things He has made.

For God so loved the world--look what he did for us-imagine loving the unlovable. God is so awesome.

My friend grew up in a strict Christian house, and as a result, she has been turned away from God. Also, she hates the "two-faced" people. The hypocrites. The ones that preach and talk about the Gospel, but do not live it in their lives. Because of them, she doesn't want to be Christian. I have told her that that Bible even states that the majority of the Christians in the world are not really saved and do not follow in the path of God, and that only a small amount of people will end up in Heaven, but she doesn't care. There are also a few select things that she simply doesn't agree with that the Bible says (such as the rules about divorce). Please, can you all pray for my friend? I care about her more then most others in my life and it hurts so much knowing that she does not follow God. I pray for her a lot myself, but it would be nice knowing there are others praying for her too. Thank you all, and God Bless. =)

What about those who have not received the gospel because they are in a Muslim country. What hope is for them?

As we are joyful always, pray continually and give thanks in ALL circumstances, HE will answer our prayer in His perfect time.

Although my family has disappointed me and hurt me deeply I have found that Jesus death on the cross for me gives me the peace to forgive them and pray for their salvation.
