Will there be animals in heaven?

God has a special reason and place for each of His created beings. Animals, too, have a purpose in God’s creation. Man, as the highest order of creation, has been given dominion over the animal kingdom (Genesis 1:26-28).

We believe that animals were intended for man's enjoyment and use. The Bible itself does not indicate that there is life after death for animals. It may be that God's purpose for animals is fulfilled on this earth. However, if animals would make us happier in heaven, surely there will be a place for them there.

Some Bible interpreters have called attention to Isaiah's description of the peace of God's future kingdom where he says that "the wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox" (Isaiah 65:25). Heaven will lack nothing that is good and that will bring glory to God.

I'm going to heaven because Pippy is there and God loses nothing to sin. With sin came death and sin will not rob God. He is the all excelling Victor. And besides God Is GOOD. Yours. Wicki

thanks for the encouragement, I lost my little white Chihuahua, Minute this past summer, what a little gift from God. We had such a bond, I loved caring for him even up to his being put to sleep. Thanks God for my doggie! Hope to see him again.

I lost my minpin Prince 2 days ago. He was with me 11 1/2 yrs. and I truly believe I will see him again in heaven. Gpd is good and I know he loves animals too or He would not have created them.

i have lost about 5 dogs whom i loved very much and i know they loved me they were faithful to the end of their earthly life it was as if they were mychildren i have read beliefs from other pastors and as the bible says jesus comes on a white horse

I lost my little "Tiny" today. I would like to believe that she will be in heaven when I get there along with my Misty and Bandit. God doesn't waste tears and I believe that our heavenly joy will include our beloved pets.

I lost my beloved dog four weeks ago. She was 15 years old and my soul mate. I miss her terribly but my hope is that I will be reunited with her and my previous dog in heaven one day. God loves all creation and God is good. I am truly blessed.

Stoputting our limitations on to God. He can do anything and He will give us our pets in heaven, why, because He can and like a Father He bestows on us His love with NO exceptions He lavishes His love on us. NOTHING. Is impossible with Father.

I have always believed animals go to heaven. I do wonder if they stay with us until we go there. Sometimes I feel presences of my beloved pets that have already passed on.

I believe animals do go to heaven. I don't think that God would be that cruel. Besides, in heaven there is no pain, only joy. And included in that joy is the reuniting of our animals.

My pastor recently said he strongly believes animals do not go to heaven. I can't wait to get to Heaven and spend eternity with my beloved Shorty, Kirby, Moo Moo, and Cartman, my beloved precious dogs. God loves me and he loves them and his promise to me is eternity with them, my hearts desire.

There's a bible verse that says God cares for even the littlest of his creatures... besides pets do not purposefully sin like humans do. In fact, because they don't sin, they probably are the only ones that deserve heaven.

Althought the Bible doesnt directly answer this question, I believe that God would certainly reunite us with our beloved pets and animals that "He" created. God instructed Noah to protect and preserve two of each animal on the ark.

Yes. Chrissy I too. Believe God will reunite every one not only with their human loved ones he will reunite us with our beloved pets.God so loved the animals he so loving created he instructed Noah and his sons to build a huge ark.

I don't believe that God would let us love our animals as we do and then never see them again. I have lost many animals in my 73 years and including horses my mare Lady was lost to me 6 years agao at 31 years of age and her and I were very close,

Thank you all, it is a comfort to know that my beloved little dog that died so suddenly 4 days ago is whole and healed in Heaven with my Lord. I know I will see her again one day. I also know that God will comfort me in my grief.

heaven is perfect. therefore there will be animals in heaven living in harmony. for all of you that are suffering from a loss do not worry for you will be reunited in heaven if you live for glorifying gods name while on earth

My girlfriend and I just lost our dear Maxie, our big lovable Alaskan Malamute. The vet mentioned that our dog has a soul, which gives us reassurance we'll see Maxie in heaven. And we'll walk miles with her, and she'll be fine.

I look forward to seeing all my dogs in Heaven someday. They are so loyal and great friends. I think when I get to Heaven I will see all my dogs. They will praise Jesus and live forever in His presence just like we will.

When I look into my dog's eyes, I just KNOW there is a soul in that body. Why would God deny such a perfect creation a place in heaven?

We just lost our dear little poodle at only 7 years young. We have missed 2 more years ago - like many birds. We really hope to be reunited with them in heaven. We loved them all so very very much!

Animals of all kinds are a beautiful, magnificent, creation of GOD. They are innocent, free from sin and part of the perfect world that he originally intended for us. Yes they will be in heaven glorifying GOD just as we will. They will be more beautiful than ever. Praise GOD!

I have lost several beloved pets through the years and just recently lost my Katie. How comforting it is to believe we will have our beloved pets with us in Heaven.

I love animals dearly and have asked God through the years to show me signs that animals go to Heaven and He has! The first sign He brought to my attention was Romans 8:21 and the fact that the original translation for the word "creature" is "creation." When you read that verse with the original translation, like it should, that verse says it all! He has given me other signs as well, but also, the bible says that God made the animals because it pleased Him to make them and that all animals belong to Him. But, the biggest sign that says to me that the animals are included is the fact that the animals are included at Jesus' birth! It would make perfect sense that God would let us have our animals in Heaven, because He provided everything for us down here while we were yet sinners, so how much more would He provide for us up there being redeemed!

Animals do go to heaven I love them! They are not only here for human joy. God made them and loves them every bit and piece. God did not make animals to keep human luxury well maybe cows.
