Rapid Reponse Team Continues to Equip
Seminars to help you minister
July 9, 2009 - Man-made and natural disasters can happen at any time, but coworkers, neighbors, friends and family do not need to go through a hurricane or earthquake to experience a personal storm or shattered life.
The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team invites you to attend a special seminar that will help you share God's love and comfort in times of everyday crises and during major disasters.
This full-day seminar trains people to appropriately share the love and hope of Jesus Christ to those affected by personal crisis, man-made catastrophe or natural disaster. Attendees will:
- Learn how to appropriately provide emotional and spiritual care.
- Learn skills to share God's love and comfort with people in crisis.
- Learn how churches can develop ministry to those in crisis within their community.
- Find out more about the Rapid Response Team ministry and opportunities to serve as a volunteer chaplain.
To learn how your church can host a regional training seminar, call 1-800-335-1337 (9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday), or e-mail RRT@bgea.org.
