Franklin Graham is asking our nation to join him and the BGEA in praying for the families in Newtown, Conn., and for the chaplains and others offering emotional and spiritual support.

We must feel the pain that these families are enduring. We must weep with those who weep. This tragedy is beyond measure. My only comfort is in the assurance that these children will never stray away from the arms of Jesus or be tempted by evil...

No one should have to suffer this fate, God please heal this land. Heal these families and help them through the rest of their lives for it will be much more difficult when the spotlight is gone. God be there for them when the world is silent.
