John Living in Seaside Heights, N.J., John lost his car, his house and his job after October’s Hurricane Sandy, but he ended up with so much more. After sharing his story with one of the BGEA chaplains in an evacuation shelter, he realized he needed to turn to Jesus and prayed to receive salvation: “John said he felt lighter inside,” the chaplain said. “He felt like a new person.”
Sarah Sarah felt very unprepared when sharing her faith with her friends. She participated in Dare to Be a Daniel, a program designed to equip tweens and early teens to share their faith in Jesus with others. Now she shares Christ with confidence, saying, “If God really is the Lord of your life, how could you stay silent about it?”
Frank Frank, a 42-year-old Florida man contemplating suicide, found the internet evangelism website, PeaceWithGod.net, and committed his life to Christ. “I have been depressed for a long time,” he wrote. “When I searched online for wanting to die, your site came up and I read the salvation prayer. For the first time in over 10 years, tears came from my eyes. I knew.”

Because of generous donors like you, real people’s lives were eternally changed through our ministry and outreach in 2012. Roll over a person to see their story of hope.

Krisztina At the Franklin Graham Festival in Budapest, Hungary, one of the counselors prayed with a woman named Krisztina who happened to be a pastor’s wife: “She said she went to church her whole life but never accepted Jesus into her heart,” the counselor explained. “She said she felt so much shame and didn’t want to talk to anyone in her church, but felt safe here praying with me. The Festival set Krisztina free.”
Jason On Father’s Day a security guard working at the Rock the Lakes Festival in Rochester, N.Y., was angry about missing time with his kids. But after listening to the heartfelt testimonies and Gospel message delivered by Franklin Graham, Jason’s heart melted and he accepted Jesus. “This Father’s Day, I got to connect with my heavenly father,” Jason said afterward. “Now I can be a better dad at home too.”
Katie Katie, a 19-year-old girl from Minnesota, felt like she hit a wall and didn’t know where to turn. She cried while browsing the internet evangelism website, PeaceWithGod.net, and gave her life to Christ. “I have always danced around the thought of turning to God,” she wrote, “but now I need Him.”
