“Trained at The Cove to be "His Presence in Crisis", I instead found myself in His presence, as a personal witness to the goodness and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in the untiring compassion of the staff and volunteers onsite, and being awesomely humbled by the shining faith of Hurricane Katrina's survivors. Returning to my local church, I told my congregation, “I have seen a small corner of the Kingdom of God on earth, in the aftermath of a tempest [that left people] with the only thing that truly matters ... God.” At worship service that same Sunday morning ... 87 members of our congregation came forward to commit their lives to Christ. What is “Rapid Response Team Crisis Training”? The Rapid Response Team Crisis Training conference trains God’s people to appropriately share the love and hope of Jesus Christ to those affected by a man-made or natural disaster.

Who should attend the conference? This conference is designed for chaplains, church leaders, pastors, Christian counselors, and those in the Church interested in sharing God’s love and hope to those suffering in times of crisis.

Why should I attend? You should attend if you are interested in being a volunteer chaplain with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, or interested in starting a chaplain ministry in your church, or seeking to enhance your evangelism ministry to appropriately share God’s love and hope to those suffering from a crisis.
