Summary:
Meets objectives related to goals of the Video Media Services (VMS) department and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), providing audio and video support for productions and live events at BGEA facility and on location, and support for production and editing.

- Operates and troubleshoots audio visual equipment such as computers, audio mixing consoles, video projectors, and lighting consoles
- Serves as field audio mixer on in-house and on location shoots for VMS
- Serves as direct liaison to other departments and ministries regarding technical support within the headquarters facility
- Ensures technical excellence of live facility events
- Accurately monitors audio and video standards with regard to duplication and distribution
Marginal Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Specifications
Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum of high school diploma and two (2) years’ video and audio production experience
- Good interpersonal communications skills
- Working knowledge of analog and digital audio consoles such as Yamaha O1V, Mackie 1604, etc.
- Working knowledge of presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Pro Presenter, Media Shout, etc.
- Working knowledge of non-linear audio and video editing software, such as Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, Avid, etc.
- Ability to diagnose audio and video problems and determine their source
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule form
- Good knowledge of broadcast video and audio standards
- Familiarity with protocols, set etiquette, and reporting relationships while on video productions
- Ability to follow directions

Physical/Mental Demands:
- Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment and other items of up to 70 pounds in weight
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with strict technical guidelines, and under stress and pressure
Working Conditions:
- Work is typically performed in conventional office and technical production environments
- Extended daily, weekly, and weekend work hours are periodically required
- Environment in shoot locations may involve wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, risk of electrical shock, heat, cold, and stormy weather, insecure settings in third world countries, and noisy environments of up to 120 decibels
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
